Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Sales Manager to join our team in Udaipur India. As a key member of our unit you will be responsible for driving catering sales managing client relationships and ensuring the success of our catering operations.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize catering revenue and market share
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the local Udaipur market
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu offerings
- Conduct site visits and create detailed event proposals tailored to client needs
- Negotiate contracts and ensure all terms and conditions are met
- Oversee the planning and execution of catering events ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Manage and mentor a team of catering sales professionals
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
- Prepare and present sales reports forecasts and budgets to senior management
- Stay informed about local cuisine cultural events and dietary preferences in Udaipur and surrounding areas
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in catering sales or related hospitality field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in managing a team of sales professionals
- Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies in the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Excellent skills in budgeting financial planning and contract negotiation
- Expertise in event planning coordination and menu development
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations and current industry trends
- Familiarity with local cuisine cultural events and dietary preferences in Udaipur and surrounding areas
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills
- Food Safety Certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
