Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Guest Experience
- Lead day-to-day operations across the indoor cafe and beer garden
- Ensure seamless transitions between morning coffee rituals midday service and après-style activations
- Deliver hands-on service during peak periods demonstrating craft professionalism and approachability
- Manage guest flow service rhythm and elevated touchpoints that define the Market experience
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a team-first guest-first culture coaching mentoring and empowering baristas and service staff
- Support cross-training and professional development to cultivate future leaders
- Guide staff during daily service special events and seasonal activations
Operational Excellence
- Oversee scheduling inventory management supplier partnerships and operational compliance
- Maintain visual operational and brand standards including packaging presentation and sustainability practices
- Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage leadership on menu evolution seasonal pastries and beverage pairings
- Drive consistent quality across coffee beer and food offerings aligned with craft and seasonal standards
Qualifications :
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing high-volume beverage-led operations with a food component
- Strong technical coffee knowledge: espresso filter cold brew and non-alcoholic craft beverages
- Hands-on leadership style balancing floor presence with operational oversight
- Ability to orchestrate team energy workflow and service rhythm across changing dayparts
- Passion for approachable mountain-style hospitality and community connection
- Growth mindset with a focus on cross-training and developing future leaders within the team
- ProServe certification required

- Previous experience in luxury hotel or high-volume food and beverage operations
- Expertise in craft beer beverage programs or specialty coffee

Physical Demands
- Continuous standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 11lbs (5kg); occasional lifting and carrying up to 22lbs (10kg) including kegs.
- Regular use of espresso machines grinders ovens and other small appliances.
- Frequent bending reaching and twisting; occasional kneeling or crouching.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment with exposure to heat noise and cleaning chemicals.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
