AECOM Mississauga is looking for a Program Manager on a major rail program.
The Project Advisory & Program Management Lead provides integrated project management advisory and process leadership in support of the ECWE Delivery Partner Leadership Team with a particular focus on enabling the Target Price Agreement (TPA) and strengthening delivery discipline across planning commercial and governance interfaces.
This role bridges strategic advisory and day-to-day program execution supporting the Delivery Director and Deputy Delivery Director by coordinating critical processes driving cross-workstream integration and ensuring clarity readiness and momentum toward key commercial and delivery milestones. The role operates at the intersection of program management project controls commercial coordination and stakeholder governance.
This is a newly created role.
Responsibilities:
Program & Project Leadership
Support leadership in structuring sequencing and managing priority delivery processes with particular emphasis on readiness for major commercial and delivery milestones.
Provide project management oversight to ensure alignment between objectives timelines and delivery activities.
Target Price & Commercial Enablement
Contribute to the coordination and integration of inputs required to progress toward the Target Price Agreement.
Bring a delivery-focused perspective to commercial discussions with commercial management experience or an interest in developing this capability considered an asset.
Integration & Alignment
Enable alignment across Delivery Partner workstreams by promoting shared understanding of priorities dependencies and key decisions.
Support integrated reporting and synthesis of information to inform leadership and governance forums.
Relationship Management Support & Governance
Support effective engagement with Metrolinx Infrastructure Ontario and Delivery Partner leadership by ensuring consistency transparency and follow-through.
Strengthen governance effectiveness through structured coordination of decisions actions and escalation pathways.
Continuous Improvement & Knowledge
Contribute to the evolution of program management practices lessons learned and ways of working across ASP cycles.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture or Project Management or Business Administration.
6 years of experience in program coordination project advisory or management support
PEng or Registered Architect or PMP or MBA
Preferred Qualifications
Skilled in analysis synthesis and communication of complex project information.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting senior governance forums.
Familiarity with major infrastructure project frameworks and project controls systems.
Demonstrated cross-functional experience with the ability to work effectively across technical commercial governance and stakeholder-facing teams.
Proven ability to take initiative and operate with autonomy navigating ambiguity and advancing work across multiple scalesfrom strategic leadership discussions to delivery-level coordination.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong ability to manage priorities synthesize information and maintain clarity in complex fast-moving environments.
Experience supporting or working within transportation or major infrastructure programs is an asset though not essential.
Growth-minded and adaptable with a demonstrated interest in continuous learning expanding commercial and delivery expertise and evolving responsibilities over time.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust collaborate across diverse groups and contribute positively to team culture.
