The Junior Planner supports the development maintenance and monitoring of detailed project schedules across all project phases. Working closely with senior planning leads and multidisciplinary project teams this role contributes to effective schedule control reporting and coordination within complex construction and engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Collect validate and integrate field progress to ensure schedule accuracy.
- Prepare short-term Look-Ahead schedules (36 weeks) to support site coordination and execution readiness.
- Support critical path float and variance analysis to identify schedule risks and deviations.
- Track key project milestones material delivery dates and productivity metrics.
- Coordinate with contractors and consultants to validate progress and resolve schedule-related issues.
- Support the preparation of progress reports dashboards and schedule performance metrics.
- Participate in collaborative planning sessions with construction teams.
- Prepare discipline-specific or area-specific schedules as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction disciplines.
- 5 years of relevant experience in project planning or project controls.
- Intermediate knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of construction processes sequencing and field execution methodologies.
- Familiarity with internationally recognized project management frameworks: PMI (PMBOK) PRINCE2 Agile Last Planner System Pull Planning and Scrum.
- Ability to analyze schedule data and interpret impacts on project deliverables.
The role may involve periodic visits to construction sites with exposure to risks such as noise temperature variations mechanical hazards and other conditions typical of industrial environments.
