Job Summary
About the role:
Experian is looking for a motivated Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global Cloud &Compute Operations team. This role is key to ensuring the stability performance and security of our hybrid infrastructure. You will work on automation observability and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives supporting the delivery of reliable and scalable platforms.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical foundations to grow into a senior SRE role working alongside experienced engineers and contributing to global transformation projects.
What Youll Do:
Deliver operate and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS-based and hybrid environments
Implement maintain and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (core requirement)
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
Develop automation for provisioning configuration and operational tasks using Terraform scripting and AWS-native tools
Monitor and maintain system health observability and alerting using CloudWatch Dynatrace and other monitoring platforms
Support incident response root cause analysis and reliability improvements
Collaborate with Cloud Engineering Security and DevOps teams to ensure compliance governance and security best practices
Contribute to performance tuning cost optimization and scaling of services
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
24 years of experience in cloud operations SRE DevOps or IT infrastructure roles.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EC2 IAM VPC S3 CloudWatch Lambda etc.)
Practical experience with Terraform for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure
1 years of experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
Good understanding of Linux or Windows administration
We would consider familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS EKS) as an advantage.
Knowledge of monitoring logging and alerting tools
Troubleshooting analytical and problemsolving skills
Working collaboratively in distributed engineering teams
Fluency in English language
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications (Cloud Practitioner Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Engineer preferred)
Experience with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell
Exposure to DevOps and SRE methodologies (SLIs SLOs error budgets)
Familiarity with security compliance and governance frameworks (ISO SOC2 etc.)
Experience working with Git-based workflows GitOps or configuration management tools (Ansible)
