Job Summary:

The Research Intern is responsible for supporting Managers in the Research and Education division of Standards by conducting research on topics on pressing standards research and education issues. The Research Intern will support strategic initiatives by exploring practical ways of looking at new and long-standing challenges and will support the development of CSA Groups standards education products such as training courses job aids micro-credentials and personnel certification programs. This role involves close collaboration with members of the Research and Education teams and entails supporting Research Managers Product Managers and the Senior Manager Product Development with strategic initiatives to meet timelines and budget of the projects. Assists in managing stakeholder engagements preparing for meetings and could require the capacity to engage and effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Education and Skills

  • Bachelors Degree and 1-2 years experience in research and project management
  • Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems
  • Adept at working in tandem with research and education staff to oversee a diverse portfolio of initiatives
  • Capacity to synthesize information from various functions and departments to inform decision-making and project direction

Candidates with proficiency in French will be given special consideration.
