Job Summary

Location: Pullman WA

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is seeking motivated accounting or finance students who will be entering their senior year or working on a masters degree and are looking for a summeronly internship in the Pullman/Moscow area. This program offers handson experience through rotations in various groups within our Accounting and Finance department. Students will have the opportunity to develop professional skills while gaining exposure to areas such as accounts receivable accounts payable cost accounting project accounting and internal audit. As a Summer Accounting/Finance Intern you may:

Support work in cost accounting tax internal audit consolidation accounting business unit finance support and/or project accounting.
Perform journal entries account analyses reconciliations document accounting processes and assist with monthend close activities and/or tax preparation tasks.
Assist with preparing financial analyses budgets projections product cost analyses and other financial insights.
Participate in research and planning based on generally accepted accounting principles and/or current tax laws.
Contribute to special projects within the Accounting and Finance department.

This opportunity might be for you if you:

Are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance at an accredited institution and are entering your senior year.
Are seeking a fulltime summeronly internship.
Are motivated selfdirected and eager to learn.
Have strong writing documentation and communication skills.
Work well both independently and within a team environment.
Can successfully complete a background check.
Can pass required drug testing.

Pay Range Data

($21.50 - $24.25 per hour)* Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
