Are you a college student looking to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced innovative industry Western Digitals Sales & Marketing Internship Program is your chance to work on impactful projects build professional skills and explore career paths in the world of data storage and cloud solutions.
This 12-week paid internship runs from May to August 2026 and is designed for rising seniors (graduating May 2027 or later) who are passionate about business marketing and technology.
What Youll Do
As a Sales & Marketing Intern youll be part of a collaborative team working on projects that matter. Youll gain exposure to both strategic and tactical aspects of sales and marketing including:
Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Supporting lead generation and customer outreach efforts.
Assisting in the planning of major events like our Global Sales Meeting.
Contributing to marketing campaigns across social media email and digital platforms.
Creating promotional materials presentations and competitive intelligence reports.
Analyzing campaign performance and sharing insights for optimization.
These roles will be based in our offices in San Jose and Irvine CA. Candidates who will not require relocation to the San Jose or Irvine areas will be prioritized in the process.
Sales/Marketing internships at Western Digital are primarily in-person up to 5 days per week. These positions are full-time (40 hours/week) and paid hourly. The hourly pay for this position is $26.75/hour. Work time outside of normal business hours (9am-5pm PDT) may be requested as a part of your internship.

Compensation & Benefits Details
You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either WDs Short Term Incentive Plan (STI Plan) or the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance depending on your role and your performance. You may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires subject to WDS Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
