Project Manager Construction

Position Summary

Seeking a high-potential Project Manager with 57 years of DSA coordination experience on K12/education construction projects. This role leads projects from preconstruction through completion driving planning risk reduction team performance and client collaboration. The Project Manager ensures projects are delivered safely on time within budget and to high-quality standards while mentoring teams and managing all project components.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead overall project execution defining approach milestones and deliverables
• Direct project staff and trade partners to meet schedule budget and quality goals
• Manage owner contracts subcontracts purchase orders and documentation
• Support business development and maintain strong client partnerships
• Represent the organization at industry events and community functions
• Contribute to proposals presentations interviews estimating and preconstruction services
• Promote jobsite safety and ensure compliance with all safety training and standards

Leadership & Management Duties

• Oversee project risk identification and mitigation
• Develop buyout strategies with the executive and estimating teams
• Manage budgets cost control forecasting change management and resource planning
• Lead master scheduling with field leadership and trade partners
• Implement quality control safety and environmental programs
• Serve as the primary communication lead for stakeholders and issue resolution
• Supervise and mentor engineers coordinators and project support staff
• Interpret prime contracts ensuring compliance with rights obligations and notice requirements
• Report to senior project leadership

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience across multiple phases of construction
• 57 years of DSA coordination experience on K12/education projects preferred
• Degree in Construction Management Civil Mechanical Environmental Engineering or related field
• Highly organized with a structured results-driven approach

Preferred Knowledge
QSP SWPPP LEED sustainability practices and tools such as Procore PlanGrid Bluebeam Revit SketchUp AutoCAD Primavera Navisworks Microsoft Project and Viewpoint.
