Job Summary

Role: Project Manager (MPM)

Work Location: Decatur IL 62525

Duration: 2 years and possible extension

Client: LTTS/Caterpillar

Requirements:

Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM). Responsibilities include managing schedules of Automation equipment manufacturing procurement of standard tools and cost account responsibility identifying and mitigating risks upholding resource timesheet control and reporting within Manufacturing Engineering.

Core Roles and Responsibilities :

Project Planning & Strategy: Defining scope creating project plans setting collaboration reviews and achieving milestones.

Project Execution : Collaborate with Suppliers to monitor update and control the schedule of the project maintains the plan of supplier procurement manufacturing assembly program integration and trails.

Resource Management: Allocating managing and optimizing resources. Maintain resource timesheet control

Plan Management tools : Develop or coordinate with external resources to develop tools for project governance and implement the tools and govern the usage of the tools

Budgeting & Cost Control: Developing budgets tracking expenditures and ensuring financial efficiency.

Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identifying potential issues early developing mitigation strategies and resolving conflicts.

Team Leadership & Management: Organizing teams fostering collaboration mentoring the supplier and internal team on project management and ensuring high-quality work.

Communication & Stakeholder Management: Acting as the central point of contact for all Supplier collaboration and day to day activity tracker of team and report the progress to the Program manager and manage the expectations of cross functional team.

Documentation & Quality Assurance: Preparing project reports and ensuring the final deliverable meets schedule and cost.
