About You

As Gandy HVAC grows and diversifies our next Plumbing Operations Manager will own lead and scale a six-person plumbing department. You bring a proven hands-on plumbing background a tech-savvy forward-thinking mindset and a commitment to Gandys core valuesadaptability pride integrity and a customer-first approach. Dedicated detail-oriented and people-focused you thrive on improving processes taking ownership and building a strong culture-driven team that lays the foundation for the future success of Gandy HVACs plumbing division.

What Youll Do

Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of Gandys plumbing team of five technicians and one administrator setting the standard for quality performance and accountability.

Establish and maintain clear consistent pricing structures for plumbing services with a strong eye for accuracy and sustainability.

Provide expert guidance on complex plumbing projects troubleshooting challenges and technical decision-making to ensure jobs are done right the first time.

Build refine and continuously improve workflows processes and best practices that support efficiency consistency and long-term growth.

Collaborate closely with operations leadership and field teams to deliver reliable high-quality service and an exceptional customer experience.

Ensure all work is completed safely efficiently and in full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Leading the department in full alignment with Gandys core values ethics and standards consistent with how all other departments operate.

What You Bring

Hands-On Plumbing Expertise: At least 5 years of practical hands-on experience in residential and/or light commercial plumbing and Red Seal Certification would be an asset.

Leadership Potential: Proven plumbing leadership experience or eagerness to step into a leadership role even if you havent formally led a team before.

Tech-Savvy Attitude: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new technologies software and systems to drive efficiency service and operations.

People-Centric Mindset: Committed to putting your team first leading with empathy and supporting technicians in the field while building a positive values-driven department culture.

Forward-Thinking & Adaptability: Able to think strategically embrace change and grow alongside a company that values passion pride and integrity.

Career Transition Ready: Interested in moving from hands-on in-the-field work to a behind-the-scenes leadership and operational role.

Detail-Oriented & Results-Focused: Able to establish structure refine processes and ensure safety quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
