Primary responsibilities
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of energy and resource projects (e.g. power generation utilities mining oil & gas renewables).
- Manage full project lifecycle: scope definition budgeting scheduling procurement risk management and closeout.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering procurement construction and operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules cost forecasts and performance reports.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in project management and engineering execution.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical or related field).
- Professional Engineer (.) designation is an asset.
- PMP certification is an asset
- 5 years of experience in project management within the Energy & Resources sector.
- Proven experience managing capital-intensive projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles construction practices and project controls.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera or similar).
- Valid Driver Licence Ability with access to own car
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
