Primary responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and delivery of energy and resource projects (e.g. power generation utilities mining oil & gas renewables).
  • Manage full project lifecycle: scope definition budgeting scheduling procurement risk management and closeout.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering procurement construction and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety environmental and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules cost forecasts and performance reports.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in project management and engineering execution.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical or related field).
  • Professional Engineer (.) designation is an asset.
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • 5 years of experience in project management within the Energy & Resources sector.
  • Proven experience managing capital-intensive projects.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles construction practices and project controls.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera or similar).
  • Valid Driver Licence Ability with access to own car
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
