Job Title: Industrial Painter
Status: Non-Exempt / Hourly
Reports To: Production Supervisor

About The Role: The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying paint to a variety of materials and surfaces ensuring high-quality finishes and durability. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail strong technical skills and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning sanding and removing old paint.
- Mix and match paint to achieve the desired color and consistency.
- Apply paint using brushes rollers and spray equipment.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and work areas.
- Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment to prevent injuries and accidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Perform all other job duties as assigned.
- Wear required PPE at all times and adhere to all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an industrial painter or similar role.
- Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment is preferred.
- Knowledge of different types of paints and coatings and their applications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Regular attendance and active participation with the team required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
