Job Summary
To increase quality and improve efficiency of the coating process.
Qualifications :
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Minimum of eight years in educational environment
Experience:
- One year of powder coating experience desired or one year of Peerless Industries Inc. manufacturing experience.
Skills/Abilities:
- Effectively communicates (written/verbal) with personnel from all departments
- Monitor on hand inventory of materials.
- Perform procedures that improve the departments KPIs including chemical tests appearance adhesion and cure.
- Perform in a high speed/high mix paint environment.
- Understand the painting process quality and its impact on downstream processes and the end-user customer.
- Effectively prepare equipment for color changes between batches.
ESSENTIAL RESULTS:
- Maintains good communication channel with Paintline Manager.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends
- Must be physically capable of standing/bending /stooping/griping/reaching/etc. for 8 hour shift(s)
- Must be able to lift up to 30 Lbs. without assistance and up to 70 Lbs. with assistance (Floor to waist waist to shoulder above shoulders and head)
- Must be able to work in non-climate non-dust-controlled areas
- Must be able to wear required safety equipment including safety shoes Tyvek suits gloves glasses and respirators.
