Job Summary

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Assist in establishing operational methods and work standards using various measurement techniques


Provide data and insights for management systems


Record and analyze information related to the utilization of personnel materials machines and facilities


Collaborate effectively with engineering disciplines shop floor personnel and external suppliers


Evaluate and recommend improvements to layouts labor control and material control systems


Ensure effective use of personnel materials and equipment in support of SPQRC initiatives


Support plant goals related to Safety People Quality Responsiveness and Cost (SPQRC)


Maintain flexibility to work any assigned shift including overtime weekends and holidays as required


Support and implement compliance processes for QS9000 ISO14001 and Global Manufacturing System (GMS)


Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

Intermediate knowledge of Lotus Notes or similar email communication tools

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and cross-culturally

Effective written and verbal communication skills for meetings and presentations

Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities

Experience partnering with senior management to analyze and solve problems

Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of work measurement and work standards

Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes

Proven ability to apply ergonomic principles in workstation design

Experience conducting line balancing activities (3-5 years)

Experience coordinating system simulations and process buffer design (3-5 years)

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 6 years of position-related experience

Automotive industry experience (entry-level acceptable <1 year)

Prior Company experience (entry-level acceptable <1 year)

Additional Requirements
