- Architectural Design: Develop and maintain a scalable robust and flexible software architecture that aligns with business and technical requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on software development best practices coding standards and architectural patterns.
- Hands-on: Youre a hands-on developer who gets stuck in you enjoy solving complex problems and building impactful solutions.
- Technology Strategy: Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption to enhance system performance and maintainability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers engineers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Oversee code quality perform technical reviews and ensure adherence to architectural principles.
- Scalability & Performance Optimization: Design systems that can handle high availability large-scale processing and future growth.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure software solutions meet security compliance and regulatory standards.
- Drive innovation: Evaluate and implement new technologies methodologies and AI capabilities that improve team efficiency software performance and development processes.
- Manage & Mentor: Manage a small team; coach and mentor software engineers to build technical expertise within the team.
ð WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Experience: 10 years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Expertise in software design principles microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g. JavaScript Typescript).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL NoSQL) and data modelling.
- Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security best practices in software development.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities excellent communication skills and strategic mindset.
- Previous experience leading or managing developers.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
