The Role

Asour Policy and Engagement Specialistyoullbe at the heart of strategic the development of key policies and strategies translate complex legislation into actionable plans and drive meaningful consultation and engagement with our communities.

This is your chance to influence the future of two councils working closely with senior leaders elected Members and strategic partners to deliver real change.

WhatYoullDo

• Lead the creation and review of strategic and corporate policies

• Provideexpert advice on policy development and legislative impacts

• Design and deliver high-impact consultation and engagement activities

• Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making

• Present complex information clearly to diverse audiences

• Support senior leaders with briefings reports and presentations

• A strategic thinker with a strong background in policy research and engagement

• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire

• Politically astute and confident working in a complex fast-paced environment

• Skilled in project management data analysis and stakeholder collaboration
