Job Summary

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Supports FME Canadas mission vision core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FME Canada Compliance Program including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager this individual will be responsible for all matters pertaining to purchasing of products needed by FME Canada.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

  • Responsible for driving the FME Canada culture through values and customer service standards.

  • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.

  • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.

  • Takes initiative and action to respond resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Purchasing on a national level for all products within the FME Canada product lines.

  • Review and process monthly the six and twelve month forecast of products for FUSA Fresenius AG NxStage and other vendors.

  • Responsible for co-ordination of return of products to Suppliers/Vendors.

  • Update and maintain costs and product information on system for products of responsibility.

  • Communicate and update inventory status of all products of responsibility to customer service sales reps management and branch personnel.

  • Ensure new items are entered into A/X system as well as any changes to the Item master as per documents received via the internal IMF processes.

  • Communicate cost changes so that list price may be changed.

  • Maintain communicate and update list pricing in the ERP system for items in portfolio.

  • Act as liaison with Marketing in managing product lines service levels and Inventory levels.

  • Act as liaison with Marketing and Distribution Centres on ancillary products.

  • Participate in and take responsibility for Supplier performance management of direct portfolio through QBRs and other methods.

  • Purchasing and Planning project management as assigned.

  • Other duties that may be assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Post secondary education in the area of purchasing or logistics or PMAC courses.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in purchasing and/or inventory control and analysis.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

  • CPP certification or working towards it will be considered an asset.

  • Strong computer skills particularly with MS Word and Excel.

SALARY:

$55000 - $70000.
