This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval award amount (up to $200000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
This Registered Nurse- Community Living Center (CLC) is located in the Long Term Care Unit at the Manchester VA location. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
Included but are not limited to:
- The CLC RN will assist in directing the provision assist in nursing education orientation competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization consultation.
- Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.
- Provides peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement.

- Contributes professional nursing perspective in discussion with the interdisciplinary team.

- Share educational finding experience and ideas with peers.
- Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence-based care
.- Participate in activities and strategies to sustain an evidence-based-practice culture.
- The CLC RN collaborates with the Minimum Data set (MDS) coordinator to ensure documentation is accurate and reflective of the Resource Utilization Group (RUG) score.
