Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias Management of dysrhythmias ECMO Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR) Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD) Arterial line management Blood Product Administration Central line care/management Continuous IV sedation Titrate Cardiac drips Care of Ventilated Patient Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) Isolation Precautions/PPE Certs: ACLS BLS NIHSS PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTS Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports Titrate Vasoactive drips Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Ventilator Management JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:1 night 2:1 wknd Shift: NIGHTS 18:45-07:15 36 or 48 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 week contracts. Float Requirement: Yes. Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Post Open Heart Recovery Unit. Also take thoracotomies esophagogastrectomies and TAVR SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Post Open Heart Recovery Unit. Also take thoracotomies esophagogastrectomies and TAVR. We take CRRT Impella and IABP. UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication Documentation Communication): SBAR EPIC PYXIS SCHEDULING TYPE: SELF UNIT ORIENTATION: please confirm unit orientation times.
