We are seeking a caring patient and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Dagenham starting as soon as possible. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting young children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and helping them develop essential skills for their first stage of formal education.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children in Nursery and Reception. You will assist with delivering engaging lessons supporting children individually and in small groups and helping to create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity independence and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality EYFS lessons and activities
Assist children in developing social emotional and academic skills
Provide individual and small group support as needed
Promote early communication language literacy and numeracy skills
Encourage positive behaviour independence and confidence
Observe monitor and contribute to assessments of childrens progress
Help maintain a safe stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Support daily routines transitions and personal care as required
Build strong positive relationships with children parents and staff
Contribute to staff meetings CPD sessions and whole-school initiatives
Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
