The Context
Market Pay is looking for an experienced Product Manager - Digital Wallets & Digital Identity to own and drive the strategy and roadmap for our digital wallet and identity solutions.
You will leverage those solutions to bring value-added services and new use cases to clients and customers.
This is a strategic role combining product vision stakeholder management and execution across mobile payments card issuance transport ticketing and digital identity.
You will ensure our offerings meet the needs of Financial Institutions (our B2B clients) and their end-users.
Key Responsibilities
You will operate across three main pillars: Strategy Stakeholders Delivery.
1 Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and maintain the product roadmap for Digital Wallets and Digital Identity.
Align wallet and identity strategy with Market Pays global payment platform vision.
Balance innovation market needs and technical feasibility.
Position Market Pay against the competitors Digital Wallet ecosystem.
2 Stakeholder & Partner Management
Align with C-level Sales Marketing Tech Leads and Customer Success teams.
Manage relationships with technology providers and partners.
Engage with card schemes (Visa Mastercard CB) on tokenization and issuance standards in the context of certifications and mandates.
Coordinate with Financial Institution (FI) clients on requirements.
3 Feature Prioritization & Delivery
Intake and qualify feature requests from clients sales support and internal teams.
Define requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers on flows and interfaces.
Define MVPs track performance and iterate post-launch.
4 Competitive Intelligence & Regulation
Maintain a competitive landscape analysis across wallets identity and card issuance.
Produce quarterly State of Digital Wallets & Identity reports.
Monitor trends: embedded finance biometrics wearables digital ID integration.
Track regulatory changes (PSD2 PSD3 eIDAS 2.0 MiCA).
Required Qualifications
Experience
4-6 years in Product Management with 2-3 years in fintech/payments.
Experience with mobile payment solutions (wallets tokenization mobile banking).
Proven track record defining and executing product roadmaps.
Experience dealing with B2B customers and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
Technical Knowledge (Hard Skills)
Wallets & Tokenization: TSP HCE Secure Element push provisioning Apple Pay Google Pay.
Card Issuance: Issuer processing EMV standards.
Digital Identity: Biometric authentication digital ID use cases.
Tokenization Use Cases: Contactless payment remote payment wallets.
Soft Skills & Mindset
Tech Appetite / Geek Spirit: You have a genuine curiosity for technology a nerd side that loves understanding how things work under the hood.
Leadership to drive the product vision with C-Level execs and external partners.
Fluent English is mandatory (daily interactions in an international context).
