Responsibilities: Responsible for 3 logical states - Karnataka A Karnataka B and Kerala
White Cement Industry is in excess capacity and operating at 60% capacity. White Cement application awareness is very low. Substitutes are replacing white cement applications as white cement is not an end product. White Cement is not a necessary as is the case with grey cement. All Govt. specifications (applications) are mainly towards low priced grey cement based applications. Threat of imported white cement. The demand is reducing because of customers preference for ceramic tiles marble floorings and trendy exterior finishes.
Birla White has a strong brand image selling at premium price at few locations.
The job is ensuring Customer and Application support Services in the respective zone in order to enhance image of the products and the organisation and increase sales and create customer delight. The job plays an important role in creating awareness among the customers by way of providing/imparting technical knowledge making them hassles free by undertaking jobs on turnkey basis and satisfying them on the issues of complaints of quality. Promoting white cement applications and new products on sites through sampling visiting influencers architects builders sites. Developing applicators organizing & conducting promotional activities for influencers architects builders for tender approval.

| KRA1 | Accountability - Brand Building & Development of applicators | Plan supervise & co-ordinate the endorsement of product tender verification training program and skill enhancement program for applicators * Endorsement of Birla White Cement Wall Care Putty and other products in the SOR/BOQs (Schedule of rates / bill of quantities) of various Govt. / Semi Govt. / Undertaking / Pvt. Organizations as well as in Tender Verification activities. * To Create the market for wall Care putty and other products in the Non-Trade segment. * Entering Rural markets and Export potential in high growth markets. * Training & development of new applicators for white cement applications new products on a regular basis in the assigned sales area * Implementing Vikas schedules * Organizing and conducting training sessions for applicators for review & skill enhancement at head quarter level. |

| KRA3 | Demand generation | Plan supervise & co-ordinate demand generation activities. * Organizing and conducting demand generation activities like Architects / Builders / Painting Contractors and Painters & Masons Meet trade exhibitions customer awareness camps counter meets etc as per plan * Conversion of various applications to BW applications by casting samples follow up & providing applicators for execution for increasing white cement market potential * Ensuring sampling of white cement applications new products in coordination with Projects personnel for their approval * Providing handy samples of various white cement applications new products to retail team for promotion through retail network. * Arranging samples of various finishes for trade exhibitions and customer awareness camps etc. * Conducting purity campaigns to educate our customers and enhancing the brand image |
