Software Tester

We are seeking an experienced Software tester with 1 to 3 yrs for our testing team. Should have strong proficiency in both manual and knowledge on automation testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing test cases executing functional test cases and ensuring high software quality standards.

Core Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and create test scenarios test cases and test data

Perform manual testing (functional regression smoke sanity and exploratory testing)

Identify log track and verify defects using defect-tracking tools

Collaborate with development teams to understand issues and verify fixes

Execute test cases and prepare test execution reports

Participate in requirement review and test planning activities

Assist in automation testing by identifying suitable test cases for automation

Maintain and update test documentation as needed

Skills and Requirements

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications

Knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques

Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)

Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology

Automation Knowledge

Awareness or hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar

Basic knowledge of any programming/scripting language (Java Python JavaScript etc.)

Understanding of automation frameworks and test execution concepts

Willingness to learn and grow in automation testing

Good to Have

API testing knowledge (Postman REST concepts)

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins Git)

Basic performance or security testing awareness
