1. Editorial Oversight
- Provide editorial leadership to ensure all content aligns with the Ministrys initiatives values / objectives and cultural /contextual relevance.
- Understand the big vision and strategic goals of the Ministry and work towards creatively interpreting & implementing the goals and shared vision.
- Review and approve scripts rundowns treatments and final content prior to publication or (digital) broadcast
- Work closely with Head of Media Pastorate Digital Comms teams and other ministry leads to ensure accuracy and relevance in editorials/productions
- Supervise the creation of content according to the agreed content calendar in alignment with; Monthly teaching series content pillars National / Global calendars social/cultural trending issues target audiences needs etc.
2. Production Management
- Create detailed annual quarterly monthly and weekly schedules/production calendar aligning the work processes of the creative technical and postproduction teams.
- Manage pre-production planning for all productions content for live broadcasts recordings and post-production editorial quality control.
- Ensure all productions meet approved quality brand and technical standards
- Deliver projects on time and within approved budgets
- Ensure team members are accountable for their deliverables and ensure effective collaboration among teams to effectively achieve results.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise Producers Assistant Producers Researchers and Production Support staff
- Assign roles manage workloads and monitor team performance
- Coach and mentor team members to improve both technical competence and spiritual maturity
- Foster a collaborative values-driven and excellence-focused work culture
4. Strategic & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Pastorate broadcast Digital Marketing Communications and other sister organizations within the TEC umbrella.
- Effectively support organizational campaigns conferences and major events
- Contribute to content strategy and long-term programming plans
- Liaise with external vendors consultants and ministry partners as required
5. Compliance Reporting & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with broadcast regulations copyright laws and internal policies
- Prepare production reports content reviews and post-project evaluations
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows reduce costs and enhance content impact
- Bachelors degree in Media Communications Film Broadcasting or a related field
- Minimum of710 yearsexperience in media production withat least 3 yearsin a senior or leadership role
- Strong understanding of content audience profile live production broadcast and digital media environments
