A well-established engineering and manufacturing company serving the mining and industrial sector is seeking Graduate Mechanical Engineers who are looking to gain practical work experience within a Research & Development (R&D) environment.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual who enjoys working with mechanical components investigating performance issues and contributing to product improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the R&D and technical team with product testing and development activities
- Support investigations into product wear performance concerns and failure analysis
- Perform hands-on work including dismantling components and inspecting materials for defects or abnormalities
- Capture findings and assist with compiling technical observations and reports
- Assist with basic measurements inspections and documentation of results
- Contribute to continuous improvement and technical problem-solving initiatives
Requirements- Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a hands-on physically demanding environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
