We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Reston VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
The Senior IAM Architect is responsible for translating business and functional requirements into scalable secure and aligned technical solutions. This role serves as the bridge between functional analysts development teams and clients producing the architectural blueprints and design artifacts that guide solution delivery.
The architect ensures that all solutions align with enterprise architecture standards technology roadmaps and design principles. Acting as the primary technical point of contact for clients the role drives technical alignment evaluates and prototypes solution alternatives and provides leadership across multi-phase initiativesfrom concept through delivery and transition to support.

. Proven ability to translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end solution architectures
. Strong experience creating and communicating architecture and design artifacts for both technical and non-technical audiences
. Hands-on solution design experience in AWS using native AWS services
. Experience architecting data analytics solutions in AWS including services such as EMR Redshift and Athena
. Practical experience with Apache Spark and analytics development using Python or R
. Solid background in enterprise and application architecture including key decision-making on system design
. Experience selecting reviewing and integrating SaaS and COTS solutions
. Strong understanding of application and SaaS security architecture
. Deep experience with enterprise integration patterns event-driven architecture APIs SOA and microservices
. Extensive hands-on background in Java or Python design and development
. Strong knowledge of enterprise data platforms including ODS data warehouses data marts and enterprise data lakes
. Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server or Netezza
. Familiarity with application servers and containers including JBoss Tomcat and WebLogic
. Experience designing for performance scalability availability and resiliency including disaster recovery
. Ability to collaborate with professional services teams to estimate effort and plan delivery
. Strong communication presentation and documentation skills with a professional client-facing demeanor
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
