Location: Remote (Quantico VA and other areas within DMV)

Job Description:
Cloud architect is responsible for creating architecture for cloud systems. This includes designing managing and overseeing an organizations cloud computing strategy ensuring secure scalable and cost-effective solutions. Cloud architect works collaboratively with the developers
Required skills/Level of Experience:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Cloud Architect: AWS Solutions Architect 10 years of experience designing enterprise level n tier service oriented applications composed of multiple COTS products.
- Designing enterprise level n tier service oriented applications (10 years)
- System design with open architecture incorporating modularity to consolidate one or more sub-systems into one system in a secure cloud environment with consolidated and streamlined functionality
- Building high-quality technological solution and architecture models
- Providing technical assistance to support the development teams
- Acquiring a working knowledge of new technologies and third-party applications
- Writing design sizing and operation documentation
- Experience with DevSecOps (5 years)
- Understanding of GenAI related code quality tools
- Experience with Microservices and application containerization (7 years)
- Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Excellent communications skills.
- AWS certified
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel Outlook and Access)
- Good communication skills verbally and in writing and has ability to interface with the customer
- Experience with hybrid multi-cloud target architecture and operating model
- CompTIA Sec certification
