Ready for a career glow-up As the Director of Human Resources and Talent you will be responsible for developing and implementing Corporate HR strategies that align with our strategic initiatives and enhance the overall employee experience. You will lead the HR Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams playing a crucial role in nurturing a high-performance culture rooted in Sephoras values and talent. Your role will be instrumental in fostering an environment where our employees are appreciated diversity is embraced and a commitment to continuous learning is paramount.



What Youll Do:

Culture Engagement & Retention

  • Cultivate strong relationships with leaders offering guidance on policies procedures and people practices while jointly implementing initiatives to enhance our culture and support the business.
  • Lead Talent Management initiatives that drive engagement development and retention
  • Maintain existing programs and build new initiatives promoting Culture and Wellbeing at Sephora
  • Continuously innovate and lead the team to deliver programs that enhance the employee experience provide competitive advantage and align to business strategy and Sephoras EVP
  • Provide Data Driven Recommendations and build corresponding plans

Talent Acquisition

  • Lead and shape a best-in-class Talent Acquisition team and strategy that attracts diverse high performing talent
  • Partner with senior leadership by serving as an advisor for key leadership hires and talent needs within the business
  • Champion diversity and culture in all aspects of the hiring process including job descriptions training for hiring managers interview process consistency and candidate experience leading to measurable improvement in the availability and selection of diverse candidates.
  • Utilize data and analytics defining metrics and KPIs to illustrate recruiting ROI and business impact

Talent Development

  • Lead the career development planning process structure and training implementation
  • Create and build awareness around career pathing and mobility within our brand and LVMH
  • Lead the talent analytics and organizational management review processes to collect and submit information in addition to understanding key drivers of people trends and monitoring risk
  • Advise and partner cross-functionally to provide programming or training solutions to meet Sephoras needs
  • Lead all aspects of the developmental needs for select employee groups (E.g. high-potential Directors VPs etc.) and build programming solutions as needed
  • Engage support and consensus from cross-functional leadership team to help drive organizational change

Annual Processes

  • Drive the annual performance appraisal cycle salary planning and succession planning for all employees.
  • Lead the execution of initiatives linked to Sephoras Listening strategy including engagement surveys and action planning Onboarding and Offboarding feedback and ad hoc feedback
  • Oversee the LVMH annual reporting efforts

Organizational Structure

  • Collaborate with Functional leaders on strategy organizational structure performance talent development and succession planning.
  • Oversee the corporate headcount process
  • Support the VP HR in organizational design and annual headcount planning.

Governance & Compliance

  • Lead and oversee policy creation updates and compliance efforts
  • Guide and mitigate Employee Relations escalations
  • Partner and work in close relationship with the US HR team

Leadership

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Sephoras Executive Leaders providing expertise in performance management change management and coaching.
  • Influence business leaders to take actions required to close organizational capability gaps
  • Partner cross functionally consult the business and provide subject matter expertise in areas that impact HR and Talent management
  • Build and lead a high-performing team providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Emphasize leading organizational change initiatives restructures or new business launches ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication across all levels.



What Youll Bring:

  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience including 3-5 years in leadership
  • Bachelors degree in HR Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive experience in strategic HR consultation
  • Quick learner & agile
  • Proven success working with executive-level partners and demonstrated success operating at a strategic level
  • Strong leadership influencing and communication skills
  • Highly collaborative with cross-functional experience
  • Effective multitasker with strong problem-solving abilities
