Job Summary (Snowflake Data Engineer Banking Domain)
- Design and Develop Data Solutions:
Lead the design development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and AWS technologies.
- Snowflake Platform Administration:
Administer and manage the Snowflake environment including performance tuning cost optimization user access control user onboarding/offboarding and workload management.
- AI/ML Solution Development:
Design build and implement modern AI/ML solutions leveraging Snowflake Cortex Amazon Bedrock and other AI/ML models as applicable.
- Reporting Tools Management:
Manage and support reporting and business intelligence (BI) tools and platforms including configuration of custom reports.
- User Support and Training:
Provide expert support and training to end-users on data accessibility reporting tools and best practices to facilitate data-driven decision making.
- Data Governance & Compliance:
Implement robust data governance security protocols encryption and access control policies in compliance with banking industry regulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with security IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient data operations.
- Continuous Process Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement in data management processes documentation and data quality metrics for high data integrity and reliability.
- Industry and Technical Expertise:
Apply deep expertise in data engineering cloud platforms (Snowflake AWS) banking/financial services and modern reporting/AI tools.
- Independent Leadership:
Operate independently with minimal oversight lead complex data projects and actively contribute to a lean high-impact engineering team.
Note:
Must have 14 years of experience strong background in banking/financial services and advanced expertise in Snowflake and AWS. Onsite (Boston MA) presence required (3 days/week); F2F interview for final Citizen/Green Card only.
