Position Overview
Nationally recognized pediatric academic medical center is seeking an experienced Clinical Nutrition & Pharmacy Recruiter to support a high-impact fast-paced portfolio within our Talent Acquisition team. This role partners closely with a designated Vice President and manages a high-volume specialized book of business supporting Clinical Nutrition and Pharmacy hiring needs.
This position is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in complex environments brings deep clinical recruiting expertise and demonstrates resilience confidence and professionalism when working with strong and demanding leaders. Success in this role requires a combination of technical recruiting skill emotional intelligence and an upbeat solutions-oriented mindset that aligns with their culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary recruiter supporting a dedicated Vice President owning the full recruitment lifecycle for:
- Clinical Nutritionists (highest priority)
- Pharmacists
- Pharmacy Technicians
- Manage a consistently active requisition load typically including:
- 6 15 Pharmacy Technician roles
- 0 6 Pharmacist roles
- 3 5 Clinical Nutrition roles
- Partner closely with clinical and operational leaders to understand workforce needs anticipate challenges and deliver timely high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Navigate a demanding stakeholder relationship with professionalism confidence and tact - maintaining composure credibility and momentum even in high-pressure situations.
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for niche and hard-to-fill clinical roles leveraging multiple channels and creative outreach approaches.
- Provide clear consistent communication to candidates and hiring leaders managing expectations while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- Drive the recruiting process from intake through offer ensuring compliance with hospital policies and hiring standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation data integrity and pipeline visibility within the ATS.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative mission-driven Talent Acquisition team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting Clinical Nutrition professionals in a healthcare or clinical environment (required).
- Experience recruiting Pharmacy Technicians and/or Pharmacists strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing high-volume specialized requisitions simultaneously.
- Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders including those with strong or challenging personalities.
- High level of emotional intelligence resilience and adaptability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills - confident clear and professional.
- Alignment with values mission and patient-first culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience recruiting in an academic medical center or large healthcare system.
- Familiarity with niche clinical talent markets and proactive sourcing techniques.
- Experience supporting a dedicated book of business rather than shared requisitions.
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: On-site Tuesdays plus one additional weekday (Wednesday or Thursday).
