Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in accordance with procurement guidelines
- Support public procurement activities while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing availability and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Assist with contract administration and renewal tracking
- Resolve procurement-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner
- Ensure best value transparency and adherence to procurement policies
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist
- Experience with public-sector procurement preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
