The Role
As the Business Development Manager you will build and maintain relationships with a portfolio of Caravan and RV Dealerships Brand Ambassadors and other partners and industry bodies to deliver new business growth and exposure for the CIL brand.
This role primarily services distributors in both South Australia and Western Australia. Some interstate travel will be required to visit dealers and attend Caravan and Camping shows in Western Australia with approximately 2-3 trips per year.
You will also be responsible for attending some Shows and Expos which requires some weekend work (approx. 3-6 weekends per year)
What youll do
Maintain and strengthen relationships with Referrers Distributors (Caravan and RV Dealers) & Industry bodies through regular contact and driving new business growth.
Analyse data to drive state performance insights and identify improvement opportunities.
Drive Business Development activity focused specifically on Caravan Insurance Leaders (CIL) such as Events and Partnerships. This also includes presentations to customers and external business partners.
Coordinate prioritise and manage sponsorship/brand awareness activities to maximise outcomes.
Articulate CILs value propositions as well as specific product features target markets advantages and benefits
Gather and share industry and market intelligence to build understanding and identify opportunities and trends to improve CILs competitive advantage and positioning
Visit Dealerships to meet with external staff share performance results deliver training and complete audits on an annual basis.
