We are looking for a Department Assistant to support Rare Disease (RareD) and People & Organisation P&O teams.

Your new role

As an Assistant RareD and P&O you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations and supporting leaders across Rare Disease and People & Organisation departments. You will act as a central point of coordination helping drive effective planning communication and execution of activities. The role requires strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinatinglogisticsfor internal and external meetings events and conferences includingtravel and accommodation arrangements
  • Supporting department heads with project coordination and daily operational tasks
  • Maintaining organized contracts and ensuring compliance with requirements including coordinating contract review forms validation andarchiving
  • Managing invoices purchase orders expensereportsand related documentation
  • Supporting andcoordinating the tender process ensuringcomplianceandmaintainingup-to-date andstructured documentation
  • Supporting the operations of the Novo Nordisk office reception

Rare Disease is a specialised area within Novo Nordisk that focuses on improving the lives of patients with rare conditions. Our team is dedicated to driving innovation and delivering solutions that make a difference. The atmosphere is dynamic and collaborative offering opportunities to contribute to impactful projects and initiatives. You will also have opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally with the Sales and Marketing team and Key Accounts Managers working on tenders.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and bringsa strong senseof ownership to daily operations. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and leaders acrossRareDand P&O so a service-minded approachstrong communicationskillsand the ability to navigate multiple priorities are essential.

To be successful in this position we imagine youhave:

  • ABachelors or mastersdegree
  • At least 2 years of assistant experience while additional project management experience will be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
  • CommunicativeEnglishskillsto help you collaborate effectively with international partners a strong advantage
  • Ability to plan prioritise execute tasksand follow upeffectively while anticipating potential challenges

About Company

You will be part of the Gulf Cluster sales team based in Qatar. You will report to the Country Sales Manager. The local team consists of approx 10 employees, and has highly-engaged and experienced members that are looking for a new teammember.
