PHARMA CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Salary: 10 900 - 14 000 PLN gross monthly

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Pharma Customer Development Manager is responsible for delivering net sales volume NPAT and market share targets for a group of pharmaceutical wholesale accounts. The Pharma Customer Development Manager plays an integral role in using a team approach across all functional areas (retail marketing operations finance logistic) to develop business and profitable growth within the Pharmaceutical channel.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Management:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics that are aligned to broader sales vision and strategy and ensuring that the sales plan takes into account a broad range of Colgate-Palmolive internal factors and external factors
  • Translating sales strategies into specific operational sales objectives (e.g. pricing distribution share of shelf volume etc.) and other key performance indicators (KPIs) including gross to net margin forecast accuracy etc.
  • Conducting detailed analyses of trends and gaining customer and CP agreement for a business plan that balances the needs and objectives of the account and Colgate-Palmolive.
  • Working with retail marketing and the customer to make decisions related to product pricing placement promotion and POP materials based on promotion evaluation and the shopping habits and behavior of the consumer in the assigned account.
  • Managing the customer(s) to grow sales improve service and identify supply chain efficiencies by utilizing new techniques tools and information systems (e.g. category management EDI etc.)
  • Conducting central and regional negotiations business reviews and follow-up with regional and/or divisional representatives.

Other responsibilities:

  • Performance Analytics: Leverage BI tools and CRM systems to analyze sell-in/sell-out data monitor market trends and track competitor activity.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the Supply Chain department to manage stock levels ensure timely deliveries and provide accurate sales forecasts for production planning.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor commercial KPIs proactively identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to drive profitability.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all activities strictly comply with Pharmaceutical Law anti-trust regulations reimbursement policies and internal Codes of Conduct.
  • Integrity & Quality: Uphold the highest standards of Commercial Selling Principles and Corporate Governance in all external and internal interactions.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Solid experience in sales customer development or key account management ideally with wholesalers or pharmacy chains
  • Proven ability to develop and execute customer business plans and deliver sales profit and market share targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing commercial terms and trade conditions
  • Good understanding of trade marketing in-store activation pricing and visibility to drive sell-out
  • Strong analytical skills confident working with sell-in/sell-out market and pricing data and BI / CRM tools
  • Experience collaborating with Supply Chain to manage stock levels service and forecast accuracy
  • Awareness of or willingness to learn pharmaceutical regulations reimbursement and anti-trust requirements
  • Excellent stakeholder management communication and presentation skills
  • Results-driven organized and proactive with a solution-oriented mindset in a dynamic competitive environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: 10 900 - 14 000 PLN gross monthly


The salary level is determined by the objective evaluation of the positions requirements such as required skills effort responsibility and working conditions which places the role into a specific level within the companys compensation framework.

Employees will also be eligible to the quarterly bonus - on target 4% of base annual salary (16% total for all 4 quarters) and annual bonus plan - on target 9% of base annual salary linked to company and individual performance.

The conditions of payment of the salary and benefits referred to above are regulated by the Employers Remuneration regulations which shall be submitted to employment candidates at the later stage of the recruitment process.
