The Global Travel & Expense Manager is responsible for the end-to-end Global Travel & Expense (T&E) program at JDE Peets. The role ensures compliance with internal travel policies availability of fit-for-purpose tools and suppliers timely reimbursement of employee expenses and effective management of the Corporate Credit Card Program.
The position leads the development of the global T&E strategy defines KPIs to measure compliance and performance and drives continuous improvement across Travel Expense Meetings and Card processes. Working in a globally standardized but locally executed model the role builds strong partnerships with internal stakeholders outsourced partners and suppliers to ensure consistent adoption and optimal user experience.
In addition the role leads and develops direct reports and local T&E functional leads ensuring efficient compliant and future-proof T&E operations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop roll out and embed a standardized global T&E strategy covering Corporate Travel Meetings & Events Expense Reimbursement and Corporate Credit Cards.
- Manage operational execution of JDE Peets global Travel & Expense program.
- Provide insights and reporting on execution compliance and performance to global and local management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives projects and workshops to enhance processes efficiency and knowledge.
- Identify and implement new ways of working and technology developments within the T&E landscape.
- Lead coach and develop direct reports and local T&E leads.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree (BA/BSc) or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience in Travel & Expense preferably in a global or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of the travel industry and T&E best practices.
- Experience with T&E systems (e.g. SAP Concur or similar).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with confidence in presenting to senior audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills Proven leadership and people management capabilities.
