Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

• Accurately remove and stock product customers product and various supplies according to inventory plan

• Accurately select product to fill customer orders and package them properly

• Load and unload trucks and verify that correct items are loaded and unloaded

• Picking processing and packing orders also may be required to cut orders on the Kaltenbach saw

• Cycle Counts

• Identify hold and segregate defective material

• Complete paperwork per work instructions when required

• Perform general clean up

• Inspect forklift at the beginning of every shift; report issues to immediate supervisor or other designated personnel

• Participate support and comply with all health safety quality ISO and 6S Initiatives compliance and Lean initiatives requirements and/or training

• Assist in any other duties to support the operation as requested by supervisor or team lead

• Train others when required

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• This is a Safety Sensitive role the company is dedicated to the safety of all employees and we are looking for candidates that are safety oriented to join our team.
• Ability to read write speak and understand basic English and perform basic math problems
• High school diploma/GED
• History of consistent dependable attendance
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending twisting squatting reaching and grasping motions

Preferred Requirements:

• Use of hand held measuring tools
• Basic computer skills and knowledge such as with database programs and Microsoft Office programs.
• LEAN and/or Quality Control experience
• 5 years of warehousing experience especially in metals industry
• Shipping experience
• Previous forklift experience

• We offer hourly non-exempt shift differential compensation(2nd Shift - $1.00 differential 3rd Shift - any hours worked over 28 hours will be paid out as time and a half)

Job Compensation

Compensation: $21.50 ($21.50 - $23.00)
