Are you ready to lead and make a province-wide impact As Regional Manager Legal Services youll drive strategic planning and oversee legal operations across multiple regions of Nova Scotia. Under broad direction of the Director Legal Support and Operations and other senior management including the Director Legal Services (Family Litigation) youll lead a talented team of legal support professionals legal assistants paralegals clerks and administrative staff while ensuring smooth efficient and compliant operations that support the Family Litigation practice group.
In this leadership role youll partner with directors and senior management to shape the Divisions mission purpose and mandate and influence key decisions particularly in the Family Litigation Practice Group. Youll champion digital transformation lead change management initiatives and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in advancing the Department of Justices mandate and improving legal services for communities across the province.
The Regional Manager Legal Services will be a strategic innovative leader and change agent with strong interpersonal communication and technology skills who excels in a delivery focused environment. The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Management and leadership experience in a Family Litigation environment is considered an asset.
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination standardized tests oral presentations interview(s) and reference checks.

This competition is for one (1) permanent position based in Halifax Nova Scotia.
Pay Grade: EC 11
Salary Range: $3501.95- $4377.48Bi-Weekly
The salary rates include an economic adjustment that has been approved. These rates are effective April 1 2025. Implementation in our HR system will occur on March 5 2026. Until then the current rates will apply. Employees hired during this period will receive retroactive pay adjustments in accordance with the applicable policies.
