Junior Accountant supports the finance department by handling daily accounting tasks like data entry accounts payable/receivable bank reconciliations and journal entries assisting with financial statement preparation payroll and month-end closing ensuring accuracy and compliance with basic accounting principles and regulations under senior supervision.
Job Responsibilities
Data Entry & Ledger Maintenance: Post journal entries update ledgers and record financial transactions accurately.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage invoices payments and expense reports; process bills and track receivables.
Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements general ledgers and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements balance sheets and income statements.
