Job Summary

Excellent Job Opportunity for Sous Chef - Indian Cuisine to work in Kuwait!

Location: Kuwait
Monthly Salary: 500 KWD (Basic) 1 Duty meal
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years

Sous Chef Indian Cuisine Job Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food production

  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes (North & South Indian Tandoor Curries Biryani Gravies)

  • Ensure consistency in taste presentation and quality of all Indian menu items

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff commis chefs and helpers

  • Maintain high standards of hygiene sanitation and food safety (HACCP)

  • Assist in menu planning recipe standardization and new dish development

  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and stock rotation (FIFO)

  • Handle kitchen inventory and assist in ordering raw materials

  • Coordinate with service staff for smooth kitchen operations

  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef


Requirements

  • 5 years of working experience as a Sous Chef or similar role

  • Strong knowledge of Indian Cuisine techniques

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen environment

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Physically fit and able to work long hours if required

  • Age limit: Below 35 years
