A prestigious 5-Star Luxury Hotel in Kuwait is seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef in leading kitchen operations. The role requires strong leadership international culinary expertise and the ability to maintain the highest quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations
Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and excellence
Ensure food quality presentation and taste meet 5 standards
Control food cost portioning and inventory
Maintain HACCP hygiene and safety standards at all times
Support menu planning and new concept development
Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a 5 hotel or luxury restaurant
Strong background in international / European cuisine
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen management systems
European nationalities only
Fluent in English
