LITIGATION (PERSONAL INJURY) PARALEGAL (Permanent)
Our client an established law firm in WNY is seeking a Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury) to join their growing team. This opportunity will support a new Attorney that was recently hired and offers stability with tremendous room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to one Personal Injury Attorney for all aspects of cases
- Act as the initial point of contact with clients gathering critical information providing case updates and ensuring realistic timelines/expectations are achieved
- Manage all aspects of litigation and trial preparation: schedule client meetings depositions and communications with court reporters expert witnesses and investigators
- Draft and e-file legal documents (100% digital) in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy with all complaints motions subpoenas and discovery requests/responses
- Request and review all medical records to appropriately prepare & support demand packages
- Provide administrative/clerical support by scheduling managing correspondence coordinating filings etc.
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients at all times ensuring an empathetic and professional approach providing regular updates and guiding clients through sensitive matters
- Provide assistance with client lien resolutionworking with lien holders to identify amounts and achieve swift resolution
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time direct hire
- 100% in-office during training; ability to WFH 1 day/week after probationary period is complete
- Standard 40 hours/week with minimal overtime
- $26.00 - $34.00/hour depending on experience; team-based bonuses offered biannually

- 3 years experience as a personal injury paralegal for motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters
- Associates Degree in Paralegal studies is preferred
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong organization skills analytical and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated
