Job Summary

LITIGATION (PERSONAL INJURY) PARALEGAL (Permanent)
Our client an established law firm in WNY is seeking a Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury) to join their growing team. This opportunity will support a new Attorney that was recently hired and offers stability with tremendous room for growth.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily support to one Personal Injury Attorney for all aspects of cases
Act as the initial point of contact with clients gathering critical information providing case updates and ensuring realistic timelines/expectations are achieved
Manage all aspects of litigation and trial preparation: schedule client meetings depositions and communications with court reporters expert witnesses and investigators
Draft and e-file legal documents (100% digital) in a timely manner
Ensure accuracy with all complaints motions subpoenas and discovery requests/responses
Request and review all medical records to appropriately prepare & support demand packages
Provide administrative/clerical support by scheduling managing correspondence coordinating filings etc.
Maintain open lines of communication with clients at all times ensuring an empathetic and professional approach providing regular updates and guiding clients through sensitive matters
Provide assistance with client lien resolutionworking with lien holders to identify amounts and achieve swift resolution
Work well in a team environment as well as independently
Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

Position is full-time direct hire
100% in-office during training; ability to WFH 1 day/week after probationary period is complete
Standard 40 hours/week with minimal overtime
$26.00 - $34.00/hour depending on experience; team-based bonuses offered biannually

3 years experience as a personal injury paralegal for motor vehicle accidents and premises liability matters
Associates Degree in Paralegal studies is preferred
Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient computer skills
Strong organization skills analytical and time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Self-motivated
