Job description:
Well-established San Fernando Valley Firm seeks an exceptional paralegal to assist our Franchise Law Practice Group. Ideal candidate is organized with 1 to 3 years paralegal experience able to work with multiple busy lawyers in an active highly service-oriented practice. At our firm you will nurture client relationships and conduct research to support attorneys matters. The candidates responsibilities will include assisting with annual updates and preparation of Franchise Disclosure Documents; accurately and efficiently processing and tracking franchise regulatory filings; and providing support to attorneys on an array of other transactions and projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of substantive and current corporate intellectual property or other transactional paralegal experience and preferred to be a credentialed paralegal in California but not required. Franchise experience is a plus but not required. Other types of paralegal experience will be considered. Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel in particular) Adobe and Outlook; have strong contract drafting experience; be detail oriented; have strong written and verbal communication skills strong organizational skills; the ability to work under tight deadlines prioritize responsibilities and multitask across multiple projects; and the ability to work in a team environment.
