Pay: $120000.00 - $155000.00 per year

Location: Primarily on-site in Leesburg Virginia with limited work-from-home flexibility as needed.

Note: Must be a licensed attorney with 2 years of relevant litigation experience. We strongly prefer someone who is genuinely passionate about integrating their faith into the practice of law.

Job Description

Handle civil litigation matters from early case development through resolution
Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery and other litigation-related documents
Support and participate in depositions hearings mediations arbitrations and trial preparation
Work on employment disputes church and nonprofit defense matters business disputes contract litigation and related civil matters
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
Communicate directly with clients opposing counsel and courts in a professional and responsive manner
Contribute to a team-oriented office that values collaboration mentorship and strong client service

Qualifications

J.D. and active bar admission in Virginia or ability to become licensed promptly
2 years of civil litigation experience
Strong legal writing research and analytical skills
Experience drafting motions pleadings and discovery
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a professional deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
Alignment with a faith-forward practice environment is strongly preferred
Jury trial arbitration or clerkship experience is a plus
