ESU 10 seeks to fill this position with an educator who has a combination of the following qualifications special knowledge & skills.
Job Goal: To support the ESU 10 mission through the delivery of effective and systematic professional development facilitation of educational processes as well as support of district administrative leadership practices for the purpose of improving teaching and learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field required; Masters degree in Education or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience required
Special Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of early literacy instruction and assessment with the ability to support coach and collaborate with educators to improve K-12 literacy outcomes
- High degree of professionalism including strong communication and public relations skills
- Disposition to establish rapport and work in collaboration with school district and other ESU personnel
- Capacity to work on multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Utilization of technology for effective collaboration communication and instruction
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience in curriculum instruction assessment leadership educational technology and/or continuous school improvement process
Major Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in planning implementing supporting and evaluating school improvement initiatives
- Design develop and execute professional learning
- Research and promote new and effective practices in education
- Participate in relevant training to acquire/develop skills and competencies required for effective job performance
- Participate in local regional state and national conferences and/or trainings
- Travel as necessary to provide support to local school districts/and or attend conferences for individual professional learning
- Adhere to regular and dependable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment
- FTE 1.0 (220 Day Contract) with full-time benefits
- Salary based on education and experience
