Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Chelsea MI. As a Care Assistant you will provide essential support and care to our clients helping improve their quality of life through personalized assistance and companionship.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing dressing grooming and mobility.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients health and well-being.
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments errands and social activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients their families and healthcare professionals.
- Document daily care activities and observations accurately.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate patient and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
