Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst Financial Reporting will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of the strategic vision of our newly created Reporting Centre of Excellence (CoE) playing a key role in establishing new pillars within the CoE. The successful candidate will support the Pillar oversee a smooth transitional period and ensure the provision of high-quality accurate and timely addition the employee will support standardization of our reporting processes and continuous improvement in data reporting and analytics as we seek to further scale up the team and build its capability.
The activities to be transferred / are transferred to the Pillar include month-end reporting and planning (Budget and in-year forecasts) with a focus on Revenue Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Operating Expenses (OPEX). This position demands close collaboration with the Functional Business Partnering (based across the globe) and the Corporate FP&A teams (based in UK and US) to ensure services are delivered according to agreed standards and in line with business needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Service Delivery
Transition & Knowledge Management: Lead smooth transitions into the FP&A team with robust documentation and minimal downtime.
Reporting & Insight Generation: Prepare accurate monthly P&L reports with variance analysis and clear action-oriented commentary.
Stakeholder Liaison: Effectively engage with multiple stakeholders (across regions / countries) to get the variance commentaries (when needed) and consolidate them to present in a concise / easily consumable fashion.
Forecasting & Budgeting Support: Drive and assist planning / forecasting cycles leveraging deep understanding of cost/revenue drivers to enhance forecast accuracy.
Stakeholder Engagement: Consolidate business inputs into concise insights for leadership; support month-end reviews.
Data Accuracy & Timeliness: Ensure high data integrity through thorough checks and on-time delivery of all outputs.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for efficiency standardization and automation.
Collaboration & Mentoring: Mentor junior analysts and contribute to peer reviews to uphold reporting quality and team performance.
Ad Hoc Analysis: Deliver timely financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and performance improvements.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
5-6 years finance professional experience in large and complex global organisations or equivalent.
Experience with Finance reporting tools and technologies (EPM and Workday).
Excellent communication in English (both verbal and written).
Exposure to manage multiple stakeholders across regions.
Experience with FP&A Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting. Deep understanding of key drivers for Revenue COGS and OPEX.
Strong critical thinking skills which have been implemented to run key sanity checks on key data points and ability to triangulate numbers with multiple sources.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills ability to establish good working relationships with staff at a variety of levels across teams and functions.
Ability to thrive in a matrix organizational environment. Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in an international environment.
Awareness of advanced data analytics techniques and tools is desirable.
Proactive and results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement in processes systems and reporting.
Ability to present financial information succinctly and compellingly while also being detail-oriented.
