The Shift Manager will be responsible for leading motivating and developing team and will have the operational responsibility for production and maintenance during shifts as well as for ensuring optimal handover to the next shift team.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading motivatingand developing your employees and the crew as a team
- Meeting the ambitious production goals as well as ensuringcompliance with quality standards and maximum capacity
- Ensuringthat employees receive necessary training supervision and feedback on an on-going basis and that all team members are fully aware of their own role and responsibilities
- Participatingproactively and solution-oriented in the production management team to maintain and develop a good culture in the production environment
- Contributingto ongoing maintenance and development of lean standards and processes
- Participatingactively in a safe and healthy working environment
- Participatingcross-organizationally in the development of overall processes KPIs optimization activities and goals as well as other common tasks / projects
- Continuously contribute with ideas and suggestions for improvements and optimizations in relation to safety working environment and efficiency
What are we looking for
- Relevant experience supplemented with relevant education or an education as a mechanical engineer production engineer or similar
- Result-oriented and ambitious with ability to translate that mindset into creating a performance culture in your team
- Experience with the implementation and operation of lean disciplines and other management and optimization tools
- Experience from a similar management position in a modern line production with shift teams - preferably from a high speed and high volume production
- Fluent in Danish and English
