Key Responsibilities

• Requirements & Use Cases
  Analyse business needs and translate them into clear functional specifications use cases and acceptance criteria to enable the (re)use or development of data pipelines datasets and reports.

• Stakeholder Partner
  Serve as a goto point of contact for business stakeholders and their leadership maintaining regular communication and aligning expectations across teams.

• Reporting & Visualisation Guidance
  Advise on reporting techniques and best practices; produce mockups and proofofconcepts to guide solution design.

• Roadmap Ownership
  Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation (data users data suppliers and other partners) to build and maintain product/solution roadmaps.

• Domain Curiosity
  Demonstrate interest in transport planning and operations and contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency and customer service.

• Delivery Support
  Support development and test teams in implementing your requirements into validated data assets reports and test scenarios.

• Documentation
  Produce and maintain uptodate solution documentation (functional designs data contracts lineage notes user guides).

• Data Governance Collaboration
  Coordinate regularly with data owners data architects data custodians and data consumers to manage enhancements defects and incident backlogs and to maintain coherent roadmaps.

• Architecture Alignment
  Work with data architects to align with business and solution architecture; consult Enterprise System and Solution Architects as needed.

Qualifications :

MustHave (Conformity Criteria)

• Masters degree (or equivalent professional experience).
• Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum ways of working.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g. Functional Analyst Application Owner).
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Dutch French and English:
  • Dutch or French at C level the other national language at B2 minimum and English at B2.
• Ability to be onsite at the head office at least 2 days per week.
• Legal authorisation to work in Belgium.

NicetoHave (Evaluation Criteria)

• Indepth handson experience with the Azure data estate such as Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Databricks Azure SQL/SQL MI Fabric/Lakehouse and related governance tooling.
• Strong command of analysis techniques (use cases scenario creation business process modelling data mapping).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and IT.
• Methodical precise and detailoriented working style.
• Proactive solutionoriented wellorganised with strong problemsolving skills.
• Knowledge of transport operations (railway or comparable complex transport environments) is a plus.

Location & Work Pattern
