As a Commercial Buyer Global Category you will play a key role in shaping our global procurement and supply chain strategies. Your work will directly contribute to cost efficiency supply continuity and sustainable growth across Boschs global operations.

Your contribution to something big:

• Analyze part family data to identify opportunities for consolidation standardization and cost optimization
• Develop and implement global category and part family strategies in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Secure supplier capacities for new projects and increased demand ensuring supplier readiness and performance
• Manage material shortages proactively both at supplier level and internally by defining and implementing risk mitigation strategies
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure supply continuity and minimize production disruptions
• Actively manage and communicate with stakeholders up to department head level finding optimal solutions for Bosch

Qualifications :

What distinguishes you

1. Education

• Masters degree preferred ideally in Engineering Business or a related field

2. Experience

• Around 2 years of experience in purchasing strategic sourcing category management or supply chain functions

3. Know-how

• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving
• Experience in supplier management negotiations and cost optimization is an advantage
• Understanding of supply chain processes and risk management

4. Languages

• Fluent in English
• German language skills are a plus

5. Working Style and Methods

• Proactive self-motivated and solution-oriented
• Comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment
• Able to manage complexity and prioritize effectively

6. Personality

• Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
